The NC Disability Action Network (NC DAN) has a new home

In July 2007, the North Carolina Centers for Independent Living joined together to manage the NC Disability Action Network (NC DAN).  The Centers received a three year grant from the NC Council on Developmental Disabilities to run the project.

As many of you know, NC DAN use to be an in-house project of the NC Council on Developmental Disabilities.  NC DAN members wanted the project to be run by a grassroots organization led by people with disabilities instead of a state agency.  Now NC DAN has a new home with North Carolina Centers for Independent Living.
